Reese's Milkshake

Chocolate and Peanut Butter unite into one delicious milkshake.

I know that it's freezing in most parts of the country, but I think you should bundle up, crank the heat, and then make this milkshake. Or, if you're like me and live somewhere warm, wear your t-shirt and flip flops and sip this outside.

This post will be short and sweet, just like this recipe and the resulting milkshake. I've never made one from scratch before and I have no idea why. I literally blended up delicious chocolate ice cream from Trader Joe's, some mini Reese's peanut butter cups leftover from a Valentine's/New Job party for a friend and former roommate, and a splash of milk. Now that I know this... watch out.

For those of you who know me in person, you know that I am literally always craving donuts and milkshakes. I don't know why those over anything else. Maybe I just love milkshakes way more out here in LA because it's so hard to find regular ice cream. Damn Fro-yo has taken over everywhere. I can think of 1 ice cream place and about 20 potential frozen yogurt locations. It's sad.. And donuts? Well, what's better than fried dough covered in sugar, melted chocolate, and/or sprinkles? Not much.

So milkshakes. Make this, drink it, and then thank me later.

Reese's Milkshake

serves 1

1 cup chocolate ice cream
5 mini reese's cups, unwrapped.
2-4 tablespoons milk, optional

In a blender, blend together ice cream and reese's cups until smooth. Add in milk until desired consistency is reached. Pour into a large glass and drink immediately.
