thursday things

1. I had to work a lot this past weekend, but I did get to spend Memorial Day morning at the beach with a few girlfriends. That view doesn't hurt, right?

2. I love horses, so seeing this post with some pictures from a foal's birth made me happy. They're so little (and big) and adorable and gangly. So just a heads up, there are some birth pictures.

3. S'more cookies? These look genius. Be prepared to be made, cookies. I recently found her blog a few months ago and I can't believe it's taken me this long. LOVE her, love the pictures, and it's nice to find someone in the blog world that's my age/younger.

4. I have about 8 1/2 years before I turn 33, but reading this list about "37 Things I've Learned by 33" still helped. Hopefully I've actually learned all those things by then.

5. Whales are one of my favorite animals, especially orca whales. So seeing this video of a few people helping to release a large humpback whale, made me terribly happy. 

6. Excited to try and see some outside movies this summer!

7. This weekend is girl's weekend in Vegas and I could definitely use one. Have a good weekend!
